The Metrologic Optimus S Series of Data Collection Terminals

DED are pleased to announce the arrival of the Metrologic Optimus S series of portable data collection terminals. Suitable for use in retail and light warehousing applications, both the standard and Bluetooth Optimus terminals are available now.

Featuring 2MB of RAM to store programmes and data, the Optimus S series terminals effectively read and collect data from the warehouse to update stock files. Both terminals feature Optimizer application generator software. This enables menus and options to be customised on terminal start up to suit the application.

The Optimus S is a compact, portable data collection terminal, combining powerful features with user friendly software. Small enough to fit into your pocket, the Optimus S transmits data on connection with its cradle. Using a rechargeable battery, the Optimus S has up to 100 hours of scanning time and either RS232 or USB interface.

The Optimus SBT is equipped with Bluetooth technology to open up even more opportunities for customer integration. Transmitting data automatically when in range, the Optimus SBT updates stock control data in real time, providing up to the second accuracy. With up to 36 hours of scanning time, the Optimus SBT also uses a rechargeable battery and has either a RS232 or USB interface.
