The Metrologic Fusion - Now Available from DED

DED announce the availability of the Metrologic Fusion, a 20 line omni directional laser barcode scanner which is ideal for medium volume retail applications. The omni directional orientation of the Fusion is perfect for increasing throughput, whilst the single line scanning option is ideal for selecting and scanning from barcode menus.

The Fusion features automatic in stand detection, switching automatically between hand held and presentation mode as appropriate, increasing efficiency at the point of sale. The Fusion also includes optionally integrated EAS resulting in time saving by simultaneously deactivating the EAS tag and scanning the barcode.

When the Metrologic Fusion senses a bar code, the laser beam automatically wakes from a power saving sleep mode. Switching to scan mode, the Fusion instantly guarantees high-speed scanning and accuracy, ensuring the life of the Fusion is prolonged, whilst operating costs are minimised.

With USB, RS232, keyboard wedge and stand alone keyboard interfaces, the Metrologic Fusion can be wall, counter mounted or free standing, so easily integrates into any existing point of sale equipment.
