The Choice is Clear - The Jiva 8015 IR Series

An highly reliable all-in-one touchscreen terminal, the Jiva 8015 series is now available with the option of an infra red, glass touchscreen. With a spill proof, water resistant structure to allow for easy cleaning, the new Jiva 8015 IR is proving to be the perfect choice for Bar and Restaurant applications as well as Retail outlets.

The new glass infared screen is far more durable than the traditional touchscreen found on most terminals. It is also much brighter as there is no touch panel to obscure the image on the high luminescence TFT panel beneath.

The Jiva 8015 IR features a powerful Celeron 2Ghz processor and 40GB HDD is supplied as standard. The standard 256MB RAM can be upgraded to 2GB. Operating system support includes Windows 2000, XP, WEPOS and Linux. USB, RS232C, Parallel & Ethernet ports are supplied as standard.

With a unique space saving design, the base houses an optional internal UPS battery and harddisk. It can also be converted into a wall mount bracket for applications where space is at a premium.

Options on the Jiva 8015 include a second 12.1" screen mounted on the rear of the terminal, magnetic stripe or smart card reader, iButton reader, fingerprint scanner, 40 key programmable keypad and a 2 x 20 line customer display module.
