Now available from DED, the Star Micronics SP700 has been designed to withstand the most robust of environments. The SP700 is a revolutionary, feature rich dot matrix printer that offers a wealth of benefits for bar, restaurant and kitchen applications.

The SP700 has a lot to offer. From the buzzer option that alerts kitchen staff to incoming orders and ensures they never get missed, to the space saving small footprint and optional wall mount kit. Featuring drop in and print easy loading paper along with a full or partial cutter, a rewind option is also available. The aesthetically pleasing curves come into their own with an easy to clean, splash resistant and compact design. Finally, the re-designed paper management system enables users to visually check paper levels through a clear window on the printer – no need to open the printer to check inside.

Offering reliability and high performance as standard, the SP700 is a high speed, 9-pin high quality matrix printer capable of printing in mono or two colours at up to 8.9 lines per second. The SP700 will also include features from the unique, ground breaking software provided with the TSP100 FuturePRNT. Tools will include a new graphics management tool to make adding images simple, a marketing coupon tool, print counters and more.

The SP700’s versatility continues with an impressive range of interface options – RS232, Parallel, USB, Ethernet and WiFi and an equally impressive range of drivers for Windows (WHQL approved), JavaPOS, Linux, Mac, OPOS and ESC/POS.
