The Metrologic Orbit CG – Now
Available from DED - 12382-196
Combining all the features of the Metrologic Orbit and packaging
them together with patented CodeGate technology, the Orbit CG is an aggressive
20 line scanner which also offers the flexibility of a single line scanning
mode - ideal for targeted or menu scanning. Designed to suit a variety of PoS
and retail environments, the Metrologic Orbit CG is now available from DED.
For added flexibility, the scanning head can be tilted within a 30o
range to accommodate objects of various sizes and shapes and to facilitate menu
scanning. Standard features include EAS antenna integration for tag
deactivation, power save mode, data editing, OPOS/JPOS compatibility for easy
installation and user replaceable cables. Orbit CG comes with USB and RS232
interfaces.
The Orbit CG has been developed to also safeguard long term
infrastructure commitments. In the event of a change in PoS system or software,
the Orbit CG easily updates firmware via its patented MetroSet configuration
software – provided free from Metrologic.
