DED at Retail Solutions 2008

Showing a comprehensive selection of POS equipment from industry leading manufacturers such as Star Micronics, Metrologic, Zebra, Posiflex, Axiohm and Nippon Primex, DED will be exhibiting at Retail Solutions 2008 on stand number H4 in support of the events move to Excel in London.

New products from Star Micronics to be featured include the latest model in the TSP100 range of POS printers, the TSP100GT. With market leading software and accessories included free of charge, the TSP100GT is the super fast version of the TSP100. Printing at 250mm/second, the TSP100GT comes with options that make it the ideal printer for hospitality and retail industries.

Also on show from Star Micronics will be the HSP700, a new compact combination thermal/matrix printer. Combining key features from other popular Star Micronics products to produce the world’s fastest combination printer, the HSP700 is not only fast, but accurate as well. Perfect for Pharmacy, Hospitality and Retail applications, the HSP700 has been designed with voucher endorsement, cheque printing, pharmacy labelling, form filling, receipt and restaurant slip printing in mind.

New barcode scanners will be on display from Metrologic. The Voyager GS will be featured as the latest addition to the industry leading Voyager series of barcode scanners from Metrologic. Featuring the latest in ergonomic design, its new form factor makes VoyagerGS ideal for a variety of applications, including retail point-of-sale, office automation and healthcare settings.

Also featured will be the P100i plastic card printer from Zebra which is ideal for gift and loyalty card personalisation thanks to its front single card feed and integrated card stacker. The P100i is perfectly positioned for retail applications as the industry moves away from gift vouchers and loyalty stamps towards a more secure and technologically focussed solution.

Alongside these innovative and exciting products, new members of the KS Series of popular terminals from Posiflex will be featured, as well as Kiosk printing solutions from Star Micronics, Nippon Primex and Axiohm.
