New Range of Touchscreens from DED

Now available from DED Limited - the DEDTouch15 and the DEDTouch17 - new 15 and 17 inch PoS touchscreens. Cost effective and compact the DEDTouch15 and the DEDTouch17 feature a water proof spill design, which make them ideal for both Retail and Hospitality environments.

With a sturdy die-cast aluminium base and a rugged, yet ergonomic design, the DEDTouch series stands up well in high volume retail environments. The DEDTouch screens are simple to integrate into current PoS environment thanks to a VESA 75 mounting suitable for use with the Space Pole PoS mounting system, also available from DED, to minimise the amount of counter space taken up by the PoS system.

With a wide ranging tilting angle, the DEDTouch series offers positioning between 15 and 80 degrees. Further improving its versatility, the DEDTouch is available with an optional customer facing display for promotional messages and a interface magnetic card reader (MSR). The MSR is supplied as standard with a USB interface although RS232C & Keyboard Wedge options are also available.

The touchscreen controller is supplied with both USB and RS232C Serial interfaces as standard. Resolution of the DEDTouch15 is 1024 x 768 increasing to 1280 x 1024 on the DEDTouch17 version.

Both the DEDTouch15 and the DEDTouch17 feature cable management to hide power cables in the base, making sure counter tops remain clutter free, have integrated audio and come with a 2 year return to base warranty.
