Betting Slip Printers

OverviewWith technology becoming a major part in betting shops these days,
its no surprise that slip printers are at the forefront of this ever developing
industry.
Two main factors need to be considered when choosing a
betting printer to produce betting slips (tickets), speed and legibility of the
print. This is not only key to the amount of bets you can take but the ability
to be able to read the betting slip easily when processesing the slip.
Both the TSP1000 and TSP700 are ideal
for such enviroments. The TSP700 is currently the fastest printer on the UK
market plus the TSP1000 is following close 2nd due to its ability to stack
slips with its built in stacker.
The
TSP1000 (top

versatile low cost printer is ideal for use in Bookmakers (Bookies). The
TSP1000 is a flexible, high speed, high quality thermal betting slip / ticket
printer with a three position paper stop, making it ideal for the betting
industry.
The TSP1000's compact footprint makes it a perfect printer for
the demanding Betting shop environment. With a print width of 82.5 mm, the
capacity for 1st column printing and slip stacker allowing the operator to take
slips as and when required, the TSP1000 would be ideally suited to any betting
environment from horses to dogs, football to motor racing.
The printer
makes handling busy periods much simpler, by keeping bets and tickets in the
sequence in which they were placed, providing the ability to stop printing once
the stacker unit is full, and continuing to print from stored memory once the
stacker has been emptied. The slip stacker sensor can even be defined by
software to print betting slips one at a time as they are removed from the
printer.
Featuring a high capacity paper roll of up to 180mm diameter,
the TSP1000 printer is ideal for when there is a requirement to print and stack
up to 30 betting slips at any one time. With a fitted sensor to stop
overloading of the stacking unit, and the ability to print on media up to 0.15
mm thick - this is the perfect printer for any Betting shop.
The new
TSP1000 also features a high speed output of upto 180 mm/sec, drop in and print
easy load, multiple paper width of 45 - 82.5 mm, two colour print capacity -
red/black and blue/black slips, variable black mark sensor and three colour
versions - cherry red & Star white, charcoal grey or Star
white.
The TSP700 (top right) The
TSP700 receipt printer is one of the fastest ticket printers of its type on the
market, with a staggering print speed of 180mm per second.
The TSP700
uses Star's simple "Drop-In And Print" paper loading feature and can accept
paper rolls of 58mm, 80mm & 82.5mm wide on tickets of up to 150gsm.
An external paper feed path for large diameter and fan fold tickets is
standard. The new "Auto-Logo" feature, which is more than just standard
"logostore", allows Betting shops to very simply use promotional pictures and
logos to enhance their betting slips . Simply download the images to the 8 Mbit
Flash ROM and then use them when required by adding just two characters to the
end of the product description.
Simple and no software changes. The
TSP700 has a host of extra features including two colour printing, splash-proof
cover (perfect for race track slip printing) , wall & desk mount brackets,
interchangeable interfaces & drivers for most operating systems.
