MCP300 Visual, Magnetic & Smart Card Reader/Writer Series

The MCP300 Series (on left) are a range of compact visual card readers/writers with smart card read/write capability plus the ability to read standard 3 track magnetic stripe and to print on the unique visual display area.

A number of different versions are available including the MCP310RD which is a cost effective, magnetic stripe read only unit without smart card support.

Ideal for on-line applications, the MCP390TD is a versatile, dedicated smart card system with cost effective smart card read/write capability without magnetic stripe support.

It is Ideal for secure applications where the key information is held on the card, for example Electronic Purse, Security Access, Account Histories etc.

Finally, the MCP310TD is a versatile multi-functional version featuring all the advantages of both of the above units.

This version has full smart card read/write capability and the ability to read magnetic stripe.

The magnetic visual strip on the card is used as an instantly changeable display for information or promotional messages.

Up to 3 x 29 characters can be written, up to 10,000 times.

The MCP300 series features an RS232C Serial interface and a built in 230VAC mains power supply plus Windows based demonstration software.
