Introduction
CardCreator is a new card design and
database software based upon the highly successful CardFive package from N5
Software, designed for use with any plastic card or page printer.
Cards
can be quickly and easily designed on the WYSIWYG layout screen including
lines, boxes, images, text & barcodes, all of which can be linked to
variable data sources and databases via ODBC (depending on version). Magnetic
stripes, contact smart cards & proximity cards (depending on version) can
also be set up and processed in the same way. The simple-to-use database
features query, find and report printing facilities together with signature
& photo capture from file or via Twain and Video For Windows. The Elite
edition also supports the capture of fingerprints using the Bioscrypt range of
biometric scanners.
All editions of CardCreator are protected by a
Smart Card-based security system that prevents the software being used if the
card is not in the reader. For added security, the Professional & Elite
editions also features user-definable password protection. Designed for Windows
95/98/NT/2000 & XP, CardCreator delivers all the features & power you
need to handle your card printing requirements.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL

database features allow you to create and manage records with multiple field

IMAGING
The powerful
imaging features enable you to capture photos from digital cameras and use real
time imaging through Twain or Video For Windows. Signatures can be acquired
from a signature tablet and all images saved in the database.
SECURE
Smart card licence and logins ensure total security access
for card printing, protecting CardCreator from unauthorised usage.
PRINTING
CardCreator can print using Direct Command Language
(DCL) to most card printers and virtually any printer (including page printers)
through standard Windows drivers
FLEXIBLE
