Introduction
The POS-2050/5050 are compact sized integrated
touchscreen terminals specifically designed for the Retail/Hospitality
environment.
Both terminals feature a range of processor options
including VIA C3, Celeron and Pentium III from 566Mhz to 1.2Ghz, 256 to 512Kb
RAM & 15Gb HDD. The highly durable 5 wire resistive touchscreen (12.1" on
POS-2020 and 15.1" on POS-5050) can be positioned at any vertical angle between
0 and 90 degrees. Resolution on both models is 1024x768.
The main I/O
ports on the terminal include 4 USB2.0, 1 Parallel, 4 RS232C and 10/100 Base-T
Ethernet adapter. The 4 RS-232 ports are supplied with selectable 5VDC or 12VDC
power allowing them to be used to power POS equipment without an external power
adapter.
Optional components which can be integrated into the terminal
include a tracks 1&2 magnetic stripe card reader, 40 key keyboard, CD ROM
and FDD.
A detachable rear plate allows for easy access to all
connections whilst ensuring that they are secured and safe in normal use.
