ScanPal2 Guard Tracking System

A new, complete guard/personnel tracking software/scanner solution for the Security industry. The ScanPal2 Guard Tracker is a brand new complete Scanner/Software solution in the shape of a piece of Windows-based software, which, when used in conjunction with the supplied Metrologic ScanPal2 portable data collection terminal, enables the activities of security personnel to be monitored. Designed to overcome the problem of needing to know and prove when a guard reached a given checkpoint on his nightly rounds - in order to monitor his movements in the event of an incident.

By scanning a barcoded label or tag at fixed points around his beat, attendance and specific timings can be monitored throughout an individual’s shift. The data collected by the machine can then be simply downloaded to a Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP based PC using the software supplied, which then produces a report to give a complete picture of the movements of each guard.
