JIVA 5000 Series Touchscreen Terminals

The JIVA 5000 touch terminal series by POSIFLEX offers features such as a software controlled on/off switch to prevent accidental shutdown, optional internal UPS (uninterruptible power supply), and an integrated finger print/MSR (magnetic stripe reader) attachment. The JIVA 5000 series offers two separate configurations.

The JIVA 5700 Thin-Client terminal is designed for applications that require less horsepower on the front-end terminal to run a POS application. The terminal supports Windows CE and XP embedded.

The JIVA 5800 contains a hard disk drive and can be used as a thick-client terminal in a client/server setting and supports Windows 2000/XP Pro.

With a unique space saving footprint design, the JIVA 5700 and 5800 functions for both countertop and wall mount applications. The JIVA 5000 has a solid design that is made to withstand the rigors of daily usage in the harshest environments.
