JIVA PL-6000 Series Touchscreen Terminals

The PL-6000 has been developed to be a high performance, efficient and flexible terminal for general retail, hospitality or kiosk applications.

It features an Intel Celeron 566Mhz processor (upgradable to 1.3Ghz or Intel Pentium III 700Mhz), 64Mb RAM and a 10.2Gb HDD. The PL-6000 is designed to support Windows 98, 2000 or NT with Win 98 preloaded as standard. A choice of either 12.1" or 15.1" TFT 5 wire type active LCD panel with a dual backlight & easily adjustable screen angle (17.5 to 87.5 degrees) gives maximum flexibility. For security purposes, all connections are secured via a keylock and the programmable power switch can even be activated by Modem or LAN.

Supporting dual-independent video output, it allows an additional screen to be driven showing advertising and promotional items while the user views the standard cashier screen. Two additional modules can be fitted, giving the user a host of additional features. The first is a 3 track MSR, smart card reader/writer and fingerprint sensor. The second unit features a 40 key programmable keyboard together with any of the items mentioned above. Other options include an external FDD, CD-ROM, UPS battery, 2 x 20 line LCD customer display and a wall mount bracket.
