Introduction
The MSA-400 series are a range
of compact motorised magnetic stripe/smart card (ISO7816) reader/writers
ideally suited for applications including Banking, Kiosk & Ticketing
systems.
The smart card module is fitted to the rear of the unit and
interfaces via TTL Serial.
The magnetic stripe module has either a TTL
or RS232C Serial interface.
A new version incorporating an RS232C
Serial interface for both the magnetic stripe and smart card is soon to be
introduced.
The optional shutter mechanism ensures that only plastic
cards can be inserted into the unit therefore preventing vandalism and
downtime.
