Introduction
The MSR-200 series are a range of compact manual
insertion magnetic stripe readers and smart card (ISO7816) reader/writers
ideally suited for applications including Banking, POS, Gaming, Kiosk &
Ticketing systems.
A combined TTL Serial interface is used for both the
magnetic and smart card modules.
The low power consumption of 800mA at
5VDC makes the unit ideal for installation into portable equipment.
A
locking mechanism is fitted to hold the smart card in place whilst it is being
encoded.
