Introduction
The MSR100/200 series are a range of plastic cased,
compact, magnetic swipe readers with either an RS232C Serial or Keyboard Wedge
interface.
The bi-directional manual swipe operation, programmable
output format and simple connection make these units simple not only to install
but also to use. Both Lo-Co and Hi-Co cards can be read by the MSR100/200
series with “good reads” confirmed by the LED and audible indicators.
The power for the keyboard wedge unit is taken from the PC via the
interface cable so there is no need for any additional PSU. The RS232C unit
requires an additional 9VDC PSU. |
