Introduction
The MTM-400 series are a range
of compact motorised magnetic stripe reader/writers ideally suited for
applications including Banking, Kiosk & Ticketing systems. Both TTL or
RS232C Serial interface are available.
There are two optional shutter
mechanism versions available, the first is a basic unit which uses an opto
sensor to ensure a card is present.
The second unit is a more
sophisticated unit featuring a magnetic head which will not open unless a
magnetic stripe card is present and in the correct orientation.
The
standard unit features a Lo-Co magnetic encoding head although a Hi-Co and
Lo/Hi-Co switchable are also available.
