The P640i’s design provides reliability for continuous-print applications thanks to it dual roll laminating system which applies near edge linerless laminate patches to both sides of the card simultaneously, in a single pass. This means fast production of highly durable cards protected by laminate patches on both sides. The patented P640i card transport mechanism allows highly accurate card positioning, resulting in high-quality colour printing and precision details that are difficult to copy. This level of accurate control also allows you to print “micro text” of less than 15 micron high and even “grey on grey” printing which to the naked eye looks like a plain block but under magnification is clear as printed text. Other security features include custom design hologram laminates, UV printing ribbon, operator ID key option and ID Log software that creates a unique record of each card produced.
