It features a 200m range (line of sight) and the ability to run upto 15 terminals from 1 base station and/or upto 16 base stations with 1 terminal. By running mulitple base stations connected together using the built in RS485 interface it is possible to increase the range to cover a much larger area. With 1 MB of memory for program storage, the ScanPal2 RF is designed for all day, every day use. Each unit is supplied with an RF base station with RS232C and RS485 interfaces and an easy to use Windows based application generator allowing you to easily produce a program tailored to your own exact requirements. A built in CCD or laser scan engine, backlit LCD display and numeric keyboard complete the pacakge. Options include both "C" and "BASIC" software development kits, rechargable battery pack and charging cradle & protective case. DED offer a custom program development service for application where the supplied application generator is not sufficient.
