MIFARE/HID Printing/Encoding Solutions

The Mifare/HID card system from DED is a complete solution for printing and encoding HID iClass/Mifare (ISO14443) or printing and reading most HID Prox cards.

The system consists of a Zebra P310 full colour plastic card printer with either the Mifare encoder or HID reader installed and a copy of CardFive Elite card design software.

The CardFive Elite software manages all card design functions including text, graphics, lines, boxes and barcodes which can then be connected to any ODBC/SQL compliant database. DirectShow/Twain video capture, Wacom digital signature and Bioscrypt fingerprint capture are also supported.

The contactless card encoding module allows you to select the card type, manufacturer and manage the access keys (PIN) for access to each card. For HID Prox it allows the card serial number and processing date to be automatically read and recorded into a database. For Mifare the user can also define what information is encoded into which block, sector & offset in the card.

A “Secret Keys” function even allows the card scheme operator to allow the card issuer to encode cards using CardFive without actually giving the details of the access keys used for the card.

With the card, database and encoding details setup the operator can easily issue a new photo ID card encoded with all necessary information in one simple automated process.
