Introduction
The UP542 Series is a highly sophisticated low cost
dot matrix open frame printer. It is capable of an incredibly fast output,
printing 40 columns onto 76mm wide paper at 4 lines per second and onto 58mm
paper at 7.5 lines per second.
The UP542 features a bi-directional,
logic seeking mechanism resulting in an exceptional throughout. The compact
footprint with internal power supply makes it ideal for applications where
space is at a premium.
Other features include a liquid repelent cover
and internal guttering to help prevent fluid ingress, a near end paper sensor
option, a rewind option and a highlighting text facility.
The UP542 is
available with an RS232C Serial, Centronics Parallel, USB or Ethernet interface
and drivers for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP & OPOS. Options includes a range
of paper roll mounting solutions and paper near end sensor kit. |
