Below are three complete visitor
management packages designed by DED to suit the needs of a busy reception. All
3 packages are based around the DeskFive visitor management software which
enables the operator to quickly and easily check a visitor in, associate them
with a staff member and record the time they arrive and leave site. DeskFive
also produces powerful tracking reports including an emergency evacuation
report, an essential item to meet health and safety requirements. For more

Package 1
This entry level system utilises a
thermal label printer and TempBadge time delay labels which automatically
expire 1 day or 1 week from time of issue. The package is designed for users
who wish to produce a badge with text (such as visitor name and company) but do
not wish to record a photo of the visitor. This system is supplied with
sufficient consumables to produce 1000 badges and additional label rolls and
clips are available from DED.

Package 2
Based on the entry level package above,
this system offers all of the same features but includes a digital camera and
capture software to enable the user to add a photo to the badge. The capture
software automatically tracks and crops the photo to the correct size which
makes operation incredibly straight forward.

Package 3
This system is designed for users who
wish to print a more durable and long lasting plastic badge for each visitor.
It is particularly suited to users who produce a mixture of short term visitor
passes and longer term contractor passes. It uses the Star TCP400 rewriteable
card printer which is capable of erasing and reprinting each card approximately
500 times. This system is supplied with 200 cards which enables the user to
produce 100,000 badges!
Magnetic stripe or Mifare cards can be supplied
instead of the standard card (at an additional cost) to enable the system to be
further integrated into existing access control systems.
