MS1690 Focus Series Area Imaging Handheld Barcode Scanner

Introduction

The Metrologic Focus MS1690 is a high performance omnidirectional hand held area imager, a barcode scanner which is capable of decoding virtually all of today's standard bar codes, but in addition capture and transmit sharp images in a variety of outputs such as .jpg, .bmp and .tiff. The Focus combines a high resolution CMOS sensor with an extremely powerful processor to provide a wide array of outputs at high rates of speed.

With its rugged housing, the Focus is built to endure today's toughest retail and industry environments and is packed with new features. With a depth of field ranging from 0 to 9 inches for standard 0.33mm barcodes, the Focus has automatic stand detection which switches the unit from a hand held scanner to a presentation scanner for convenient in-stand barcode imaging. Featuring an object detection sensor that instantly initiates scanning once a barcode is within the field of view, the Focus also offers easy content selection.
