MR-2000 / MR-3000 Series Metal Cased Magnetic Card Reader

Introduction

The Posiflex MR-2000/3000 series are a range of magnetic card readers with a heavy-duty die-cast metal case.

Available with either a keyboard wedge or RS232C Serial interface, they feature a built-in decoder, bi-directional manual swipe card read, status LED and programmable output format. Connecting the units to the PC is straightforward, making the unit simple to install and use.

The power for the keyboard wedge unit is taken from the PC via the interface cable so there is no need for any additional PSU. The RS232C unit requires an additional 5VDC PSU.
