THTE Series 58/60mm Thermal Printer Mechanism

Introduction

The THTE is a cost effective thermal printer mechanism which features a Clamshell™ design for easy paper handling.

Measuring just 72mm x 39mm x 16mm, the extremely compact size of the THTE allows easy integration of the Clamshell drop-in paper loading system into any printer design.

All THTE models are equipped with two paper paths allowing the paper to be fed into the rear or bottom of the mechanism. The bottom (straight) paper path is ideally suited for label or thick ticket printing (up to 130gsm). The integrated opto sensor can be used to detect black marks on label rolls or for paper out detection.

For ease of integration, a tear bar equipped version is available as is the dedicated Minicont 5 interface board.
