VFD-850 Customer Display Pole

Introduction

The VFD-850 is a rugged and user friendly customer pole display designed to provide relisbility, a wide viewing angle and long life. Suitable for a wide variety of Point of Sale and Hospitality applications, it features a 2 line by 20 character backlit vacuum fluorescent display making it very clear and simple to read for the customer even in very bright conditions.

The interface is RS232C Serial with a pass-through function allowing connection of the display plus a second Serial device (such as a pos receipt printer ) on just one port. Information or short messages can be programmed into the display for when the EPoS system is not in use.

The VFD-850 customer display features ESC/POS emulation which makes it simple to integrate into most EPoS applications. The VFD-850 display can be adjusted for angle and height.
