T5-LPC Standalone Loyalty Card Solution

Introduction

The T5-LPC is a simple, low cost "PC-Free" loyalty solution designed for retaillers who want to introduce a loyalty scheme which can create loyalty cards immediately with up-to-date user information and promotions.

The system consists of a Star TCP300 or Star TCP400 rewrite card printer and the Terminal 5 Loyalty Program Controller (T5-LPC). The T5-LPC is a simple, yet powerful terminal with 2 line LCD display and numeric touch panel.

The T5-LPC features a built-in web based management system which allows you to configure all operational parameters of the loyalty scheme including member types, card layouts, point values and promotion messages and then run standalone without the need for a permanent TCP/IP connection. This means that once setup the solution takes up very little counter space, an important factor in any EPOS environment.

Day-to-day operation is very straightforward, simply insert a card, enter the amount spent, select a promotion message and the card is printed and updated with the new information. A transaction log is stored in the terminal which can be easily exported to an external database for analysis and marketing purposes.
