The Secure Badgeholder is a special durable, rigid plastic card holder designed to protect information on contactless RFID cards from being skimmed (copied) and used to produce duplicate cards. Unauthorised theft of information stored on cards can seriously compromise security in areas such as access control, cashless transactions and transport passes. As ID theft is a growing problem, it is increasingly necessary for companies to be able to protect themselves from this risk.

The shielded Secure Badgeholder is a barrier to the radio frequency signals that are necessary to communicate with contactless cards. This offers protection against unauthorised access to valuable information, yet allows the card to be read without being removed from the holder. With no need to remove the card, the user opens the holder by squeezing two tabs together and holding up to the reader in the usual way. All information is protected when the holder is closed.

The Secure Badgeholder is designed to be safe, easy to use and to work with lanyards or other ID attachments. Easily customised, the Secure Badgeholder can even be branded with logos if required.
