What should I put on my Photo ID Card?
The main purpose of the Photo ID Card is to show that you are who you say you are (its your identity). Passport size photographs are normally chosen as they fit nicely onto the card plus it keeps large runs of cards uniform in layout. The option of additional hologram is sometimes used for anti forgery. Depending on the actual use of the ID i.e. a membership card then additional information would be retained on a magnetic stripe on the reverse. The recent UK Government ID card takes this further by incorporating biometric information onto the card.


Which card printer should I choose?
Most full colour ID (identity) Card Printers are capable of printing such cards where the quality of the photograph is needed but not necessarily over the entire card. A laminate printer gives the added protection and robustness to the card.
