The OptimusR data collection terminal / scanner provides a rugged solution for batch data collection applications for demanding warehouse, retail and distribution centre environments.

With an IP rating of 65, OptimusR can take a slamming and keep on scanning.This stylish and ergonomic mobile computer rapidly uploads and downloads data via the Direct Connection option which lowers cost of ownership by making a separate terminal cradle unnecessary. OptimusR features easy navigation and software development tools that make customising applications for even the toughest data-collection challenges simple. OptimusR comes with 2MB of data memory (4MB & 8MB optional) for accommodating larger inventories. The Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery allows 200 hours of non-stop scanning operation which maximises uptime and labour efficiency by eliminating the cost of replacement batteries.

The OptimusPDA is a durable Microsoft® Windows®-based platform ideal for data collection purposes in retail and industrial applications. With a durability rating of IP54 and a 1.5m drop specification, the OptimusPDA brings versatility to the harshest of indoor and outdoor workplace environments, being designed specifically for applications where temperature varies according to the season and working conditions can be relatively poor.

The unit is offered with either laser or CMOS Imaging scan engines for 1D or 2D bar code data collection and can be configured with multiple memory options ensuring that the unit can cope with the most demanding of applications.
