Interfaces
We
offer a range of interface boards designed specifically to drive thermal
mechanisms from Star, Epson, Axiohm & Panasonic.
These are
available with a variety of interfaces including Serial, Parallel, USB &
Ethernet and with power supply options from 5 to 24VDC. Functions such as
cutter and rewind drives plus paper low/out and black mark detection for
labelling/ticketing are also supported by some of the products.

also offers a custom interface design and manufacture service for specific

Interface For 5VDC Axiohm Thermal
Mechanisms The 5VDC controller board has been designed to drive the Axiohm
THTP, CHTPN & HTPN range of mechanisms. It is ideal for portable
applications due to its compact size of only 72 by 59mm. It uses a single 5VDC
supply which means it can be easily powered from a battery pack. |

Interface For 12-24VDC Axiohm Thermal
Mechanisms The 12-24VDC controller board has been designed to drive the
Axiohm CHTP, CMDL, CMDG, XMDL & XMDG range of mechanisms. It uses a single
12-24VDC supply and is capable of driving printer at up to 100mm per second.

DCT-4283-G Thermal Printer
Interface The DCT-4283-G Interface drives the DPT-4210-G moving head
mechanism. The flying cables from the mechanism plug directly into the
interface. The connectors are on the reverse of the board allowing the
interface to be mounted directly underneath the mechanism to minimize space
requirements. The DCT-4283 has both Centronics parallel and RS232 serial
interfaces, the latter accepting up to 19200 baud. |

DCT-4585 Interface Thermal Printer
Interface The DCT-4585 controller is designed to receive data from a
parallel or serial interface and to transmit to thermal printers of the
DPT-4500 series. This high print speed of this controller makes its key
applications will include cash terminals, data logging, and fast printout of
text or display of contents. |
