The Magnetic Reader / Writer range from DED offers a variety of products and technologies from simple magnetic card readers to fully motorised magnetic card units.

Magnetic cards can store sufficient data to be used for loyalty, membership and access control applications. However, smart cards can store considerably more data and are more secure, making them ideal for electronic purse or loyalty applications where a value is stored on the card.
